Auto Tags
Georgia vehicle tags must be purchased within 30 days of establishing residency in Eatonton. You may obtain tags from
the Putnam County Tax Commissioner’s office in the
Courthouse.

Driver’s Licenses
New residents must change their driver’s licenses within 30
days of relocating to Eatonton. Licenses are issued by the Georgia Department of Drivers Services. They are located at

Electric Service
Electric Service is provided by Georgia Power in the City. They
are located at 203 Oak Street. 888-660-5890.  Some areas of the City Have Tri County Electric.  Their number is 706-485-6122.  The are located at 112 Recreation Blvd, just before the Sheriff's Office and the recreation center.

Gas Service
Natural gas service is provided by the City to its residents.

Water Service/Sewer Service
Water and Sewer services are provided by the Eatonton Putnam Water and Sewer Authority to City residents. Please contact them at (706) 485-5252 for service, connections, rates and fees.

Cable Television Service
Communicom provides cable television service in the City.
They are located at 104 East Marion. (706) 485-2288.

Telephone Service
Telephone Service is provided by Southern Bell. Please contact them at 1-888757-6500 for residential service or 1-866-620-6000 for business service.
